Do I need a landscape design plan? Do you charge for consultations?
Not always! Sometimes a simple sketch provides enough detail for planning and pricing. For more complex, multifaceted projects, we can work with you to develop a plan, or implement a design from your landscape architect. From basic to big, we are happy to discuss design options with you. See our process >
When to start planning?
We work with your timing as much as possible, with weather and other factors in mind. For maintenance tasks such as clean ups, lawn mowing and mulching, a lead time of 1-3 weeks is usually sufficient. For larger landscaping and hardscaping projects, we recommend planning further ahead so we can accommodate.
What should I budget for my landscaping project?
There are lots of factors that influence your project’s price. Even if you don’t have a design finalized, we can usually provide a “ballpark” based on the area and materials. This can be helpful for your planning and to determine if we are a good fit for your project. If you like what you see, we can then schedule a site visit and formal estimate.
